There’s plenty of free parking available.
Our scenic Walk and Run route this year is once again taking us through the famous Movie Colony area and along downtown Palm Springs! Maps will be provided to all participants at check-in. Walkers can expect plenty of amusing and entertaining surprises along this year’s route, and this year we’re excited to stage our inaugural 5K Run which will kick-off the Palm Springs AIDS Walk & Run from Ruth Hardy Park.
Everyone is welcome at the Walk & Run. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and well-behaved, leashed pets are permitted on the Walk and Festival grounds. No pets are allowed on the Run course.
No minimum distance is required on the Walk and we will have water stations along the route. Lunch and entertainment provided immediately following your completed Walk & Run.

More than 30 Hollywood celebrities will don racing jump suites and drive classic cars in a 100-mile charity rally on Nov. 18 from El Segundo, CA, to the checkered flag in Palm Springs where Keith McCormick Exotic Car Auction begins the following day.
The “Great American Celebrity Classic Car Road Rally” will be honoring the life and career of Tony Curtis and benefiting the Got Kids charity based in El Segundo and the Palm Springs Angel View Crippled Children organization.
Celebrities from reality TV shows, daytime soaps and other popular shows are being selected. The rally begins at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, CA, and ends at the grand tent at the Spa Resort and Casino in downtown Palm Springs adjacent to the car auction, to be held the weekend of Nov. 19 to the 21.

This is a FUN, night-time, bicycle ride for everyone - “Midnight Ridazz” affiliated! It’s zany, creative, a party on wheels, community interactive, and exercise too . Unique outfits encouraged. Palm Canyon Theatre
Located in an historic building at the north end of the downtown district is the Palm Canyon Theatre, a 206-seat live theatre venue which remains the only Actors Equity theater in the desert. The theater runs a full season from late September to May, and has recently entered a partnership with the Palm Springs International Film Festival to be a film festival venue during its run in January.
